Mary thrasher

Mary Thrasher’s dance training began at Chamberlain School of Ballet. As a student at Collin College, Mary took a modern dance class on a whim, and she continued to take dance courses for the entirety of her studies at Collin College. After graduating with honors and an Associate of Science degree, she transferred to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.F.A. in Dance. Notable dance credits from her time at SHSU include working with Dana Nicolay of Nicolay Dance Works (Huntsville), Andy and Dionne Noble of NobleMotion Dance (Houston), and Jennifer Pontius (Huntsville). When not performing concert dance, Mary also enjoys performing in musicals. She has performed with multiple DFW theatre companies including the past 4 seasons with Repertory Company Theatre (Richardson), Wandernook Theatre (McKinney), and McKinney Summer Musicals. Mary is a senior Pilates instructor at Equinox Preston Hollow in Dallas. She and her husband, Jarrett, reside in Garland.
