Jamey clarkson

Jamey Clarkson studied Russian ballet technique with the Allen Conservatory of Dance for eighteen years.  She received her foundation in formal modern dance training at Collin College before she went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a minor in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.

Jamey’s professional experience includes working as a dance educator, competition company instructor, and Ballet Director.   She has her teaching certification in Cecchetti level 1 and all levels of Progressing Ballet Technique.  She was a Ballet Director at both Integrity Dance Arts and McKinney Dance Studio during which time she crafted curriculum and syllabi for their ballet departments and grew their ballet programs.  She was also the Assistant Artistic Director over The Dance Studio Network’s production of “The Nutcracker,” where she helped build, choreograph, and produce the show from the start in 2017. 

Jamey has been a company member in Full Circle Dance since 2018.  She also performed with Festival Ballet of North Central Texas in their 29th production of “The Nutcracker,” and has performed in various contemporary and classical productions across North Texas. As a business professional, Jamey is a Senior Data Analyst and Hydraulic Data Manager at an Engineering firm where she’s worked in flow monitoring services for over 10 years.  When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her husband, two dogs, and baby boy that they welcomed in late December 2022.
